Ladies and Gentleman…

Alright, hears the deal. I really had no intention of starting a personal site this soon into my niche marketing career. I thought I would probably wait until I was making hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.

However, one of things I have learned from my experience, is that it really, really sucks trying to learn this business when you have absolutely no idea where to even start. There is a ton of cryptic crap out there. A whole bunch of “marketing guru”  wannabes, all with a different version of the same  la-mo marketing blog, teaching people to “make sure you have your main keyword in your title”. Decent advice I suppose,  but okay, so now what?

That’s when I got to think’in… there are actually a TON of people who don’t have their main keyword (or any keyword for that matter) in their home title. In fact, there’s a ton of people who don’t even know what a home title is!

IN FACT, there are probably a lot of people who don’t even know what hell I’m even talking about right now! Sure you may have heard of phrases like niche products, or micro niche, or whatever, but do you really understand what it means, or even more importantly, how the hell you can make money with it?

So anyway, for me at least, that was plenty of thinking for one day, and I decided that I would just share my experiences from the niche marketing world. Hopefully you can take what has worked for me and use it to build an income online for yourself as well.

One quick word of warning. If you decide to take some of my advice, there is going to be work involved, a lot of work. So if that’s something that you are opposed to and you are just looking for a get rich quick scheme, you should probably just leave now…you are going to be disappointed.

If  however, you want to make a bunch of money online and you are willing to put in the work, then stick around. One of my favorite quotes is from a guy named Courtney Tuttle…this dude has no idea what a huge impact his advice and training have made on my business but anyway, this is what he says…”If you can pick keywords, write content, and link build with efficiency, you’re going to make truckloads of money in your lifetime.”

You might not yet understand what “pick keywords”, “write content”, or “link build” means, but if  “truckloads of money” isn’t enough to make you want to get off your ass and put in the time and effort to learn about it, I don’t know what is!

Cheers.

The “Secret” of Success.

I read a lot. I always have 3 or 4 different books on the go. Jim Rohn says “The difference between where you are today and where you’ll be five years from now will be found in the quality of books you’ve read.”  So I make a point of taking time everyday to educate myself by reading books about business, mindset, marketing, personal development, philosophy, psychology, religion, history, biographies, etc.

One of the books I am reading right now is “Napoleon Hill’s Key’s to Success: The 17 principles of Personal Achievement”. One of the people he uses as an examples is Thomas Edison. Edison was one of the wealthiest and most successful people of his time, and in this book he shares his thoughts on personal achievement…

“The most important factors of invention can be described in a few words.  They consist first of definite knowledge as to what one wishes to achieve…One must fix his mind on that purpose with persistence and begin searching for that which he seeks, making use of all other accumulated knowledge on the subject.  He must keep on searching no matter how many times he may meet with disappointment.  He must refuse to be influenced by the fact that someone else may have tried the same ideal without success.  he must keep himself sold on the idea that the solution of his problem exists somewhere, and that he will find it.

When a man makes up his mind to solve any problem, he may first meet opposition; but if he holds on and keeps on searching, he will be sure to find some sort of solution.  The trouble with most people is that they quit before they start.  In all my experiences, I do not recall having ever found the solution to any problem connected with my work on my first attempt.  And one of the most surprising things is the fact that when I have discovered the thing for which I am searching, I generally find that it has been within my reach all the time; but nothing except persistence and a will to win would have revealed it.”

You don’t have to be an Einstein (or an Edison) to see that the principles he applied to invention, are the same principles necessary for success in marketing. In fact they are the same principles required for success in anything in life. Decide what you want, and go get it. It’s really just that simple, and apparently has been for at least 100 years.
